2015  BRAILSFORD AND DISTRICT PLOUGHING AND HEDGECUTTING SOCIETY
A royal visit - 2015

2015 saw a very special royal visitor at the 110th Brailsford Ploughing Match. This year the match was  held at Corner Farm Brailsford, which was the event's first ever venue, and Princess Anne was the guest of honour.

On arrival, after abandoning her car because it became stuck in the mud, The Princess Royal was introduced to some of the key members of the society, along with councillors and other VIPs.

The Princess Royal spent more than an hour talking to ploughmen and hedgelayers, stopping off at the end of each furrow and at each section of hedge to ask them questions about their craft.
